Collision is the fastest growing tech conference in America. Now in its fifth year, Collision has grown to over 25,000 attendees and is in for a big change in 2019. Following three sunny, jazz-filled years in New Orleans, we’re moving Collision to Toronto.

Our host cities have always had a big impact on our conferences and we’re excited to show you what Toronto has to offer. From its diverse population to its position as an AI torch-bearer, there is a lot going on in Toronto’s startup scene.

Join us in 2019.

The intersection of technology and new media has redefined our understanding of human progress.  In the midst of this rapidly changing world, the Social Good Summit focuses on where we’re headed. Held annually during the United Nations General Assembly week, the Summit unites a lively community of global citizens and progressive thought leaders around a common theme:

A dynamic exploration of the world we want to live in by 2030, the Social Good Summit will focus on how we can unlock technology’s potential to make the world a better place.

What happens when the world accomplishes a billion acts of peace in ten days? We are going to find out, thanks to a global experiment called #DoItForPeace.

On September 21st, which is the International Day of Peace, two global nonprofits, Kids for Peace and Peace One Day, joined by the Good News Network, will launch #DoItForPeace, a worldwide campaign to ignite one billion people to take action for peace.

#DoItForPeace will begin lighting up the world on Peace Day when 1000 ‘Ignitors’ complete their act of peace, share it on social media (tagging it with #DoItForPeace), and then invite five friends to do the same. By using simple math, at the end of ten days, 1.2 billion people—over 10% of the world’s population—will have taken a stand for peace.

Please check out the DO IT FOR PEACE site and join their movement!

The 2018 Kind Coins for Hurricane Relief Campaign was a direct response to the devastating 2017 hurricane season. Leading with kindness and compassion, the students & families who participated in The Great Kindness Challenge wanted to help, and the idea of building four new playgrounds at schools in hurricane-impacted communities in Texas, Puerto Rico, Florida, and Louisiana was born. More than 80,000 students participated in this project, helping to show how everybody has a role to play in creating a kinder world. Hasbro, Inc., through its BE FEARLESS BE KIND philanthropic initiative, matched $100,000 of the funds raised, to ensure all four playgrounds could become a reality.

The Insert Change team was honored to be able to play a role in this campaign. We thank Kids For Peace Global for creating these kinds of opportunities to help make a difference.
